Fredrick George Keever, Jr., 65, of Hedrick, died Friday, October 13, 2017, in Sigourney at the Keokuk County Health Center. Fred was born Wednesday, June 18, 1952, in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Fredrick George and Dorothy Cleo Furnald Keever.
Fred attended Union High School at Biggsville, Illinois.
Fred worked in construction and as a carpenter.
He enjoyed tattooing, watching TV and his family.
Fred is survived two sons: Trinity Keever of Oskaloosa and Tyson Keever of Daytona Beach, Florida; a sister: Larena Garnjobst of Burlington; two brothers: Joseph Keever of Lone Tree, Iowa and Mark Keever of San Francisco, California; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Alvin Keever; three sisters: Rhonda Sutton, Ellyn Christofferson and Margaret Shockly; and two nephews: Daniel Sutton and Estas Sutton.
As was his wish, Fred’s body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
