Oskaloosa, Iowa – Farm implements are a common sight in Iowa, but especially during planting and harvesting seasons. Those machines make their way around the county as they go from farm to farm.

Once in a while systems fail, as was the case yesterday when a hydraulic line broke on a piece of machinery in front of Earl May and Casey’s along A Ave.

The call came in at 4:46 pm Tuesday evening and the Oskaloosa Fire Department was on scene to assist as the owners brought in a large amount of oil dry to clean up the mess.

Crews were finished at 6:48 and traffic was, once again, back to using both lanes.
