Community 1st Credit Union Names Ditxa Richards As Oskaloosa Branch Manager

OTTUMWA, IA – Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce Ditxa Richards has been named Oskaloosa branch manager.

Richards will oversee the credit union’s Oskaloosa location after being at C1st for seven years as an assistant branch manager and personal representative, both behind the phone and in person. Most recently, she was the assistant branch manager in Oskaloosa.

“I’ve grown very comfortable in my own skin from being a personal representative,” Ditxa said. “I strive from admiring other people accomplish things, and they have eventually helped me grow into MY own skin.” The new branch manager also stated, “My manager, Mary Kay, is my person, I admire her management skills and I look forward to my own skills.”

She is originally from Sigourney and now resides in Eddyville with her husband and three children. She attended Indian Hills Community College. Ditxa has had a lot of work experience before C1st. She began as an assistant at First Resources in Sigourney. After that she worked as a customer service representative at U.S. Cellular in Oskaloosa. Ditxa worked at Cargill Meat Solutions, now JBS, prior to C1st Credit Union.

“Ditxa has a passion for the credit union, but she has an even bigger passion for members,” said Regional Manager Mary Kay VanGorp. “The pride she takes for the members and their financial needs is amazing to watch as her manager.” VanGorp also added, “I saw Ditxa evolve from working behind the phone to working in person with members, and she’s excellent at personal relationships.”
