Obituary:
Christopher John Durham was born on June 28, 1969 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the son of John Durham and Darlene (Grant) Durham Hansen.
Chris was united in marriage to Terrie Hauenstein on January 27, 1996 in Farmington, Iowa. He worked for BND Enterprises for 3 years and prior to that C-Notes DJ and Karaoke where he could share his amazing voice. Chris will always be remembered for being a fun loving guy who could always make you smile. He enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, hunting, dirt biking, playing Texas hold ’em and spending time with his friends and his dog. Chris was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed every minute spent with his family.
He passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 near Bussey, Iowa at the age of 41 years and 5 months.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, John Durham.
Chris is survived by his wife, Terrie; children, Mike (Miranda) Briggs of Pleasantville, Jordan Durham and Christian Durham both of Harvey; grandson, Brayden Briggs; mother, Darlene (Butch) Hansen of Wichita, KS; brother, Dan Durham of Pella; sisters, Debra (Sidney) Whitfield of St. George, SC, Glenda Durham of Wichita, KS, Shelly (Kelly) Lockwood of Keokuk, along with other relatives and many friends.
