Each institution can nominate a limited number of players who are then considered for CSC Academic All-America® honors. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible.
Named to the squad are defensive lineman Tom Adolph (5th-year, Coralville, Iowa City West HS), strong safety Cameron Bannister (senior, State Center, West Marshall HS), wide receiver Jeff Herbers (senior, Urbandale, Des Moines Christian HS), return specialist Gavin Hierseman (sophomore, West Branch), linebacker Brody Klein (junior, Rainier, Wash.), wide receiver Logan Mont (junior, Aurora, Ill., West Aurora HS), free safety Reece Miller (junior, Center Point, Center Point-Urbana HS) and tight end Grant Nelson (sophomore, Pella).

This year’s Academic All-America® teams will be announced in late December.
