Burn Ban In Place For Mahaska County

Fire officials in Mahaska County have issued a burn ban to begin immediately.
Oskaloosa Fire Chief Mark Neff says that small recreational fires, like those in a burning ring, are allowed.
The ban will remain in place until further notice
