A little rain did not stop Oskaloosa’s Senior Babe Ruth from playing a double header against Eddyville over the Easter Break Saturday. Forty-eight faithful fans endured nippy wet weather to cheer their teams at the Lacey Recreation Complex. Oskaloosa lost the first game in a close score of 3-1 and won their second game 8-4. Babe Ruth season is well under way and regional tournaments are scheduled later in the season at the Kentfield Babe Ruth fields at Lacey.
