Anne Johnson, 88, of Oskaloosa passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Crystal Heights Care Center in Oskaloosa. Peggy “Anne” Johnson, daughter of Andrew William and Elsie Lancaster, was born December 8, 1929, at the rural home of her parents near Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Anne and Glen also enjoyed making wooden toys in their workshop; he would do the wood working and Anne would do the painting. Her nieces fondly remember the great sleepovers and times spent with Aunt Anne.

Her family includes a sister, Mae Simpson of Rocklin, California; a sister-in-law, Lola McLandsborough of Michigan; and 12 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Glen on June 25, 2011; her brothers: Robert and Jerry McLandsborough; and a sister, Betty Davis.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2018, at Union Mills Cemetery near New Sharon, Iowa.
