Alice Seeman
Toledo and formerly of Granger. Alice Seeman, 92 of Toledo and formerly of Granger, died March 16, 2011 at Carrington Place in Toledo following a long illness. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church in Granger. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at Beaver Cemetery in rural Granger. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Alice Lenore Seeman, daughter of Willard Ray and Ada (Gilligan) Adams was born on October 14, 1918 in Woodward, Iowa. She was raised in Moran and graduated from Assumption High School in Granger. She was united in marriage to Myron Seeman on September 11, 1941. They farmed in the Granger and Perry vicinity for many years before retiring to Lake Ponderosa in Montezuma, Iowa in 1979.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Campbell of Granger and Judy (John) DeSelm of Fremont, and sons David (Linda) Seeman of Tama and Gary (Pat) Seeman of Lake Ponderosa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron, a son, Donald and a great-grandson, Darren King.
