Four Ranked Entering National Qualifier

Oskaloosa–A quartet of Statesmen grapplers are in prime position to extend their seasons to the national event as the NAIA released its fifth and final wrestling polls Wednesday.

The trio of 133-pounder Darquell Pierre (Jr., St. Petersburg, Fla., Sociology), 174-pounder Austinn Goin (Sr., Belton, Mo., Exercise Science), and 197-pounder Sheldon Rodriguez (Jr., Tampa, Fla., Biology) are all ranked fourth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference in their respective weight classes.

Nadhelo Charles-Pierre (So., Miramar, Fla., Sports Management) joins the group as he is fifth at 125 pounds.

William Penn is seventh with 51 points, while Grand View tops the list with 232 points.

Nationally, GVU is first with 212 points, while Indiana Tech (119), Life (Ga.) (106), Cumberlands (Ky.) (105), and Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) (103) round out the top five.
