Wisse, Pendzinski Take Home October Booster Club Honors

Oskaloosa–The William Penn University Athletics Booster Club has announced the recipients of the October Player of the Month awards.

Senior football player Mason Wisse (Sr., Oskaloosa, Iowa, Industrial Technology) earned the Male award, while junior volleyball player Danielle Pendzinski (Jr., Winnebago, Ill., Elementary Education) claimed the Female honor. The award is the second for Wisse, while Pendzinski is a first-time winner.

In three games, Wisse managed 34 tackles, including two for a loss of four yards. He also recorded one pass breakup.

In 12 matches, Pendzinski tallied 96 kills (1.92 per set) with a .321 attack percentage. She also finished with 44 blocks (0.88 per set) and 17 digs. The junior posted three double-digit kill performances, including a high of 14.
