Statesmen Now Among Members Receiving Votes

Oskaloosa–The William Penn men’s golf team has dropped a bit, but is still on the national radar as the NAIA’s first top-25 poll was released Friday.
WPU is unofficially 44th with three points and is third among Heart of America Athletic Conference programs; Missouri Valley is 19th with 192 points and Mount Mercy is 25th with 115 points.
Oklahoma City is #1 with 528 points and 17 first-place votes, while Coastal Georgia, Northwestern Ohio (final two first-place votes), Texas Wesleyan, South Carolina Beaufort round out the top five.
William Penn closes out its fall campaign Monday and Tuesday at the NAIA Midwest Invitational in Silvis, Ill.
