Merry Christmas from Osky News

Merry Christmas from Osky News

Charles Dickens
But I am sure that I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round… as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely.

We at Osky News would like to take a moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. May you have a wonderful time with your family and friends at this wonderful time of the year.

We will be mostly closed, and there will be little fresh news coming in the next few days as we spend time with our friends and family. Rest assured that if there is important news we will bring that to you as soon as possible.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank some people that have worked very hard to help bring Osky News to you. Charlie Comfort, Martha Comfort, Don Hubbard, Kenneth and Diane Mortensen, and Ginger Allsup. There are many others that have helped in many other ways as well, our donors, advertisers and those that help send us ideas. Also many thanks to those we have interviewed over the past few months for giving us a chance, It has been wonderful working with you all.

I have posted some Christmas types of videos for everyone to enjoy. I know these are certainly not news worthy, but they are enjoyable. They are courtesy the Internet Archive. There are many wonderful resources available there that are no longer under copyright. If you have not been there, may I recommend you pay the site a visit. http://www.archive.org/

Luke 2:9-14
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
