Monroe County Accident sends 1 to the hospital

Phyllis Chambers, 83 of Eddyville was driving Northeast on Highway 137 when she became distracted and drifted into the left lane. Chambers correcting her actions drove back across the roadway and into the South ditch. Her 2000 Oldsmobile spun, then rolled over coming to rest upright on it’s wheels facing Southwest.
The 9 am accident sent Chambers to the Monroe County Hospital via ambulance. She was then cited for failure to maintain control.
