WPU Jumps Four Spots in Second Rating

Oskaloosa–The Statesmen women’s golf team used a strong finish to its fall season to move up several positions as the NAIA’s second top-25 poll was released Friday.
WPU improved four rungs from #25 to #21 with 140 points. Morningside, at #28, and Briar Cliff, at #35, also represent the state of Iowa; no other program from the Heart of America Athletic Conference is rated.
SCAD Savannah (Ga.) remains the NAIA’s top squad with 434 points and 13 first-place votes. Dalton State (Ga.) has the other three votes to earn the #2 ranking, while British Columbia, Keiser (Fla.), and Texas Wesleyan round out the top five.
