Local printing company will continue to serve Oskaloosa

Precise Imaging lost their location but not their spirit.

Mark Richey, owner of Precise Imaging in Oskaloosa, says that he will be back in business in Oskaloosa soon. The hunt is currently on for a location to set up shop in again. Another local printing company is helping him keep things going while the details are being worked out.

Richey says he found out about the fire that consumed his business location about 8:15 Sunday evening on his way back into town. By the time that he arrived to his business location, all that remained was smoke.

The entire building is a loss, and it is not currently known if anything at all is salvageable from the location, other than his sign that remains standing in front of what is left of his business.

A day sure can make a difference. When I spoke with Mark on Monday he said he was going to retire, or semi-retire. But as many an entrepreneur would, he quickly changed his mind.

So instead of writing about all his previous years of being in business in Oskaloosa, and how much he was going to miss all the good people, I get the honor of saying he’s jumping back into business locally. I look forward to seeing Mark and Precise Imaging back in Oskaloosa real soon!
