Musco Opens New Building & Dedicates Community Commons Park in Oskaloosa, Iowa
Musco recently opened its newest product testing facility, a 30,000-square-foot building, located at 601 First Avenue West in Oskaloosa. It expands Musco’s ability to design, test, and support innovative lighting solutions for customers around the world.

OSKALOOSA, IOWA – Musco recently opened its newest product testing facility, a 30,000-square-foot building, located at 601 First Avenue West in Oskaloosa. It expands Musco’s ability to design, test, and support innovative lighting solutions for customers around the world.
As lighting and electronics continue to become more complex, the new center provides Musco with additional resources to evaluate and improve product performance and support the company’s long-term commitment to quality.
“Celebrating our 50th anniversary is a chance to reflect on where we’ve been and invest in where we’re going,” said Musco CEO Jeff Rogers. “This facility helps us continue to develop new solutions for our customers, supports the growth of our Team, and demonstrates our long-term commitment to Oskaloosa and the community that has supported Musco for the last five decades.”
Bringing testing and certification in-house enables local and specialized testing while continuing to deliver the quality and results customers expect.
Alongside the new center, Musco will soon be completing the Community Commons, a new public green space designed to bring people together and create additional recreational opportunities in Oskaloosa. The park will serve as home to the Oskaloosa Food Park beginning in 2027 and will provide a location for community movie nights and other local events. When fully completed, it will include a recreational turf field, a covered picnic area, and restroom facilities.
