Eating in Season Idea Exchange to be held

The Mahaska County Master Gardeners will be discussing eating in season. We will concentrate on eating fruits and vegetables in season, food preservation and storage (including tips), and local foods. The idea exchange is Tuesday April 5 at 7 pm at the Mahaska County Extension office, 212 North I Street, Oskaloosa.

Idea Exchanges are similar to roundtable discussions, in which all attendees are encouraged to share information with the group. The event is free, open to the public should last about an hour. Anyone interested in the topic is encouraged to attend. Prior registration is not required, but appreciated.
