Law Enforcement Along With Fire and Hazmat Crews Working Scene
Investigation taking place at 204 6th Ave East in Oskaloosa.
Law enforcement along with fire and hazmat crews were working a scene at 204 6th Ave East (Southeast of the Oskaloosa Post Office) on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were unable to comment about the situation further as an investigation is ongoing.
Police officials say that today’s search warrant, conducted by the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, uncovered a reported substantial meth lab with “a lot” of pots. “It was a pretty substantial meth lab,” said officials.
One individual is in custody as a result of the investigation.
