Oskaloosa, Iowa – Creativity is something that has come to life in the Oskaloosa Art Center.

During the month of June, camp participants created works of art that are being shared with the public during the month of July at the art center. The ages ranged from 6 years of age to 12 years of age.

“We have some very talented kids who have worked really hard, making some fantastic must-see art! We are very proud of them and we want to share their creations with everyone!”

Summer camp participants got a chance to create sculpture and ceramics, which make up most of the display in the gallery because they are larger 3 dimensional objects.

Another favorite was the super hero class, where campers made ana mana pia creations that gave a nod to the Batman programs of old. Think “Bam” “Oof” “Pow”. The campers then made masks and cardboard capes to finish off their super hero adventure.
