Mahaska County Pedestrian Injured
Iowa State Patrol – Trooper
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Seventy year-old Charles Boeder was attempting to cross Highway 92 when he was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling in the eastbound lane of the highway.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 5:39 pm to 2445 Highway 92 East of Oskaloosa. Boeder came to rest on the south shoulder of the highway. The tractor-trailer continued eastbound and has not yet been identified.
The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol. The Mahaska County Sheriffs Office along with the Oskaloosa Fire Department responded to the call.
Boeder was transported to Mahaska Health Partnership by MHP Emergency Services.
