Local Girls Scout Troop donates to MHP Birthing Center

Oskaloosa β Girl Scout Brownie Troop 979 members made special baskets with personal care items for mothers who deliver the first baby of the month at Mahaska Health Partnership. According to troop leader Becky Sidebottom, this is the fourth year the troop has donated to Mahaska Health Partnership Birthing Center for their community service project. βThe girls love babies and have learned the importance of a healthy start to life.β Shown are, from left, sitting: Lilly Harkin, Madison Teeter and Ariel Mullins.
