Osky’s Jones advances to the Semi-Finals

Oskaloosa’s Dane Jones pinned Justin Klinkel from Ames Friday in the Quarterfinal round of class 3A State Wrestling at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Jones’ pin came in just 24 seconds. This marks his second pin of the tournament as he continues through the consolation. Jones can still move on and finish as high as 3rd place in the tournament.
Albia brought 4 wrestlers to the tournament and 3 have been eliminated. Shadow Leshen remains in the hunt for the title at 106.
Knoxville’s Jay Fresh remains alive however Lane Colwell and Tyler Chatterton have been eliminated.
