2nd Annual Christmas Light Display Contest

Oskaloosa, Iowa – We are happy to once again ask all local residents to submit their Christmas light display to enter our 2nd Annual Christmas Light Display Contest. Anybody in Mahaska County is welcome to enter a display. We will photograph all entries over the first two weeks in December and display them on our website and facebook page. All persons wishing to enter their light display will have until December 11th at 12:00 pm to enter.
Residents will have a chance to vote on which light display they like the most. We will begin the voting at 5 pm on December 18th and run it until 12:00 am December 24th. The winning light display will be announced at 12:00 pm on December 24th.
The final voting numbers will be announced on December 24th. The winning light display will get a feature story about their light display as well as well as some prize or prizes we can dig up from our stock pile.
We ask that when you enter, please include your name, your address, the address of the light display (if different than your address), and your phone number or e-mail address.
