OMS Students Prepare To Explore Journalism

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The students of Mr. Joe Bell’s language arts class is starting the process of learning how to put together a newsletter to share with their fellow students.

Osky News was honored to be asked by the class to come in and share some insight on how to go about collecting the news, how to develop material, and and how to prepare for an interview.

The group hopes to cover points of interest to them such as the new skate park, the bike trail and other events happening around the school.

We have to say that the group of students impressed us with their questions of us, as does their interest in bringing news that interests them to their fellow student. We wish them great success with their project.
