Boswell names Jarrett Schneider as new communications director

Des Moines, IA— Congressman Leonard Boswell announced today that Jarrett Schneider has joined his district office in Des Moines as Communications Director.

Schneider will oversee external communications activities of the office including media communications.

“I am pleased Jarrett Schneider will be joining my staff in the Des Moines office,” Boswell said. “Schneider has a great working relationship with members of the press corps and his experience will greatly benefit my office and our constituents.”

Schneider is a native Iowan who previously worked as a reporter at WHO-TV in Des Moines. He also served as Communications Director in the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office. Schneider is a graduate of Drake University and resides in Ankeny.

“I am honored to assist Congressman Boswell in serving fellow Iowans in the 3rd District,” Schneider said. “I look forward to also working with my friends and former colleagues in the press corps.”
