Statesmen of the Week–Sil Milder and Nemesis Leon

Oskaloosa–Men’s soccer player Sil Milder (Fr., Arnhem, Netherlands, Sport Management) and women’s soccer player Nemesis Leon (Sr., Puntarenas, Costa Rica, Business Management) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of September 21-27.

Milder posted back-to-back shutouts last Tuesday and Saturday. The freshman recorded eight saves through two games, five of those saves were against Park where the Statesmen were down a player for 65 minutes of the game.

Leon’s playmaking was on full display against Missouri Baptist last Tuesday as she assisted on both Statesmen goals in a 2-2 draw. Despite being outshot 18-8, she also helped William Penn limit Park to just one goal in a 1-0 loss last Saturday.
