Stadium Donor Shirts on Sale Friday

“The t-shirt message honors the many community donors and volunteers who have contributed to help make the stadium a reality,” said Tina Schaffner, Oskaloosa Indian Booster volunteer.
Stadium donor T-shirts will go on sale Friday when the stadium opens for the first time for the Old Shoe Game. Cost for the shirts is $20 and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward the stadium development fund.
“We will have a limited number of shirts available at the Old Shoe Game this Friday,” said Tina Shaffner, Oskaloosa Indian Community Booster volunteer. “Stadium T-shirts will be available at every Oskaloosa home game this season. Beginning next Wednesday, stadium shirts will also be available for purchase at Swim’s.”
Individuals who made a donation or pledge toward the stadium through the Oskaloosa Boosters or William Penn can pick up their shirts at the home opener August 26 against Grinnell, or during the week by contacting Schaffner at 641-676-2821.
“We plan to celebrate the opening of our new stadium by hosting Maroon Night at the field during the September 9 game against Centerville,” said Kevin Pederson, Oskaloosa Athletic Director. “Supporters are encouraged to wear their stadium shirts to the game and they will be recognized on the field.”
“The Oskaloosa Boosters and William Penn University are still raising funds for the stadium development project,” said Todd Carriker, President Oskaloosa Indian Booster Club. “Individuals who are interested in making a donation can pick up a pledge form at the t-shirt booth during the football game. Donors receive a t-shirt for making a pledge.”
