Drawing for Library Adult Reading / Viewing Program on Friday

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Adult readers have just a few more days to compare the written word with movie magic. The Oskaloosa Public Library will hold the prize drawing for the “Read the Book, See the Movie” adult reading program on Friday, August 19th at 4:30pm. The prize includes a $25.00 gift certificate provided by The Peppertree and a gift certificate for 2 movie tickets, 1 box of popcorn, 2 soft drinks, and 1 box of candy provided by Penn Centre Theater.

Entry forms for the drawing must be returned to the library by 4:00pm on Friday. To enter, adults must check-out and read a book and watch the movie based on that book. Entry forms will be available in the Adult Reading Lounge on the 2nd floor of the library until 4:00pm on Friday, August 19th.

The “Read the Book, See the Movie” adult reading program is open to adults 18 and over with a valid library card. Library cards are free and available to the public by presenting a valid driver’s license, state ID card or school/college ID with proof of current address at the library’s lower level circulation desk.

For reading and viewing suggestions and program information, stop by the library’s Adult Reading Lounge on the second floor where books and their corresponding movies are on display.
