Gillam Family Benefit
New Sharon, Iowa, August 27th – Pig Roast and Benefit Auction for the Gillam family after severe motorcycle accident.
On July 8, 2011, Doug and Renae Gillam were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and were transported by Life Flight to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Since the accident Renae has required five surgeries and Doug four. Both of them will require additional surgeries due to their injuries.
We are helping their family raise funds to assist with their medical bills and future surgeries, medical procedures, and physical therapy. We are asking the public to show their support for this local family by joining us for dinner and taking part in our auction to benefit the Gillam family.
We are hosting a Pig Roast and benefit auction on Saturday August 27th at the McVey building in New Sharon, Iowa. The dinner will be served at 6:00 pm with the benefit auction to follow at 7:30 pm.
Please remember one person cannot do everything; however, everyone can do something. To purchase tickets or donate items for the auction please feel free to contact Kristi Cox at 641-295-3381. We hope to see you there.
