Waterbabies Class Offered at the Y
Oskaloosa, June 23, 2011 – The Mahaska County YMCA is offering a Waterbabies summer session. Waterbabies is a water adjustment class, designed to increase both parent and child’s confidence in the water. It encourages quality parent and child time through the use of imitation, games, and songs.
Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday mornings, from 11 to 11:30 AM, with the 4 week session running from July 11 to August 3. Registration for the session begins June 11, and remains open through the first day of the session, or until the class is full. Families are encouraged to sign-up soon to guarantee a spot in the class.
As a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y works to ensure everyone has an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. This philosophy drives the Mahaska County YMCA’s commitment to help children and adults experience the joy and benefits of swimming.
