Spaghetti Eating Contest Helps to Raise Funds for OMS

Lazer Alley enjoyed it's final night at the mall, for the season, by donating the money from game play to the Oskaloosa Middle School
Local residents got the enjoyment of watching a Spaghetti Eating Contest and then participating in the all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner in the center court of Penn Central Mall.
Stacy Bandy, Russ Reiter, Lt. Craig Alexander, Matt Dunsburgen, Matt Mich and Andy Hotek squared off in the contest with Bandy cleaning up the competition devouring 6 plates of food in under 5 minutes time. The next best competitor only got 3 plates of food finished off in the same amount of time.
The food was provided by Hy Vee and some of their vendors. Mr. Hotek wanted to thank them and everyone for coming out to support the middle school in their fund-raising drive to replace the Auto Belays for the rock climbing wall at the Middle School.
Laser Alley was open for their last night at the Penn Central Mall and decided to donate all proceeds from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to the Oskaloosa Middle School. John Moses of Lazer Alley said he was able to raise an additional $205.00 to be passed along for the project.
