Central students prepare Sudanese menu for international dinner April 11

PELLA — Central College will hold a Sudanese international dinner Monday, April 11. The meal is served in Graham Conference Center starting at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person, $5 for children 6-10 and students with a Central College ID. Children 5 and under are free. Omer Ali, a junior computer science major from Des Moines, and Judy James, a junior biology major from Clive, will host the dinner. Their menu selection includes shorbet adas (lentil soup), tamayya (chickpea patties), moullah ba patatis (beef with potatoes), rice, salata ma jibna (salad with parmesan cheese), fool medemmas (broad beans) with pita bread and basta (filo dough pastry).
