Community plays Dodgeball to raise money for Special Olympics
Oskaloosa students participated in a dodge ball tournament to raise money for Special Olympics
14 teams lined up Tuesday night to raise money for the local Special Olympics group. Teams from the High School, including students and teachers as well a team from Musco and the Oskaloosa PD, all competed to be the top in dodge ball.
After an explanation of the rules, the teams dug in for the single elimination tournament.
In the end, after some intense battles, 1st place went to Average Joes with 2nd place going to We’re Legit.
The Special Olympics will be in Oskaloosa April 2nd, with their opening ceremonies starting at 10:00 a.m. on the William Penn campus.
