Extension Week is March 21-25, 2011

To kick off Extension Week, the Mahaska County Extension office will hold an Open House from 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21. Everyone is invited to visit the Iowa State University Extension of Mahaska County office at 212 North I Street in Oskaloosa throughout the day to learn more about the Extension program areas, take a building tour, and enjoy refreshments. A door prize drawing will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Staff will be available throughout the day to answer questions, give tours, and provide informational brochures to all visitors. This event is free and the public is invited to attend.

From 6:30-7:00 p.m., members of the Mahaska County Agricultural Extension District Council will be available to visit with prior to their regularly scheduled open council meeting at 7:00 p.m.
