Statesmen of the Week: Leonardo Jimenez and Chloe Jacques

Oskaloosa–Men’s soccer player Leonardo Jimenez (So., Mexico City, Mexico, Business Management) and women’s golfer Chloe Jacques (So., Chatham, Ontario, Political Science) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of October 5-11.

Jimenez tallied a two-goal brace in William Penn’s 4-1 win over Mount Mercy last Tuesday. The sophomore scored on both of his shots.

Jacques led WPU at The Statesmen at The Preserve last Monday and Tuesday. The sophomore tied for 23rd at 170, opening with a 92 on Monday and then dropping 14 strokes for a 78 on Tuesday. Jacques’ exceptional play saw her be two-under par over one eight-hole stretch.

Her efforts helped the navy and gold finish sixth out of 11 teams.
