WPU Dips to 20th

Oskaloosa–Despite its come-from-behind victory last Saturday, the Statesmen football team was demoted as the NAIA released its third top-25 poll Monday, sponsored by STADIONIC.

WPU (4-1, 1-0 Heart North) was moved down one spot to No. 20. It marks the 11th straight time the navy and gold have been featured in the top 25.

Four Heart of America Athletic Conference programs are currently ranked. Benedictine leads the group at No. 4, while Grand View is No. 5 and Baker is No. 23.

Keiser (Fla.) and College of Idaho are now tied for No. 1. Keiser has six first-place votes, while College of Idaho has the remaining five. Indiana Wesleyan finishes the top five at No. 3

WPU travels to Cedar Rapids Saturday to face Mount Mercy in a Heart North division game at 11 a.m.
