Rimes Resigns as Assistant AD for Event and Facility Operations
Oskaloosa–William Penn Athletics Director Aleesha Rabedeaux has announced that Bailey Rimes has resigned as Assistant Athletic Director for Event and Facility Operations.
Rimes, who is leaving to pursue a position outside of collegiate athletics, has served in her role for the past four years. She came to WPU on a women’s golf scholarship and eventually led the program as head coach for three seasons.
“Being a part of William Penn University has been both an honor and a privilege,” Rimes said. “It gave me the chance to contribute to the community and University that made me the person I am today. I have cherished working alongside such an amazing group of people and will forever treasure the relationships, memories, and lessons I have learned here. Though leaving is bittersweet, I take with me a profound appreciation for the incredible work we have accomplished together and a deep pride in being part of this institution’s legacy. As always…GO STATESMEN!”
“Bailey has been an incredible person to work with, and her contributions to William Penn have been truly invaluable,” Rabedeaux said. “She has been instrumental in elevating our game day offerings and ensuring we provide the very best game day atmosphere possible for our student-athletes. Her passion, dedication, and hard work have made a lasting impact, and we will deeply miss her as she takes on this exciting new endeavor. We wish her the best!”
