George Earns All-Tournament Laurels

Oskaloosa–Nick George (Sr., Sarina, Ontario, Sociology) closed out his collegiate playing career with an impressive league tourney as he was named to the all-Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament Team Tuesday.

George, who helped #8 seed William Penn (24-27) to a 2-2 record at the Championship, hit .438 (7-for-16) with two doubles, three RBIs, and six runs scored.

The senior posted three multi-hit showings and tallied at least one base knocks in all four contests. George, who scored in three separate outings, also walked twice and was hit by a pitch twice.

George was one of 14 players named to the all-tournament squad.
