Aczon Garners Heart POW
Kelcey Aczon (So., Las Vegas, Nev., Nursing) had a strong weekend and for her efforts she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Bowler of the Week Tuesday.
Aczon won her first career laurel after guiding William Penn to a sixth-place finish at the Warhawk Open last Saturday and Sunday.
The sophomore placed 25th at the event with 1,056 pins in six games for a 176.0 average. She headlined her outing with a high game of 222.
Aczon is currently averaging 154.5 pins in eight games (high game of 222).
The award is the second for WPU this year.
