Piet Named Heart Bowler of the Week
Aidan Piet (Fr., Meridian, Idaho, Business Management) used a huge weekend to garner Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Bowler of the Week honors Tuesday.
Piet won his first career award after leading William Penn to ninth place at the Warhawk Open last Saturday and Sunday.
The freshman posted a 212.2 average with 1,273 pins in six games to finish ninth overall. He cleared 200 pins three times with a high game of 263.
For the season, Piet is averaging 193.6 pins over the span over 20 games (high of 263). He has posted one top-10 finish this year.
The weekly laurel is the second for WPU this year.
