New Website, Same Name for William Penn Athletics

Oskaloosa–The William Penn University Athletic Department is proud to unveil a new website in a continued partnership with PrestoSports.

Remaining at its same URL, www.statesmenathletics.com is on its fourth version (last redesign came in 2020). This is the first time, however, that it has operated as a PrestoSports website, as WPU worked with SID Help–now an expiring subsidiary of PrestoSports–for its first three iterations.

“Our new website will make our department more efficient, as all of our efforts–website and streaming–will now be with Presto,” William Penn Assistant Athletic Director for Communications Wade Steinlage said. “We are excited to promote Statesmen Athletics to our fan base with many new features.”

The features of the website include a scoreboard ticker, a news rotator, a featured athlete section, a social media stream section, a sponsor slider section, a section for highlighted videos, and a conference standings section. Additional boxes are also present for the WPU Athletics Hall of Fame, the Statesmen Sports Network, and the WPU Athletics Booster Club.

Most importantly, though, the site will work seamlessly with the Statesmen App. To download the app, go to the App Store on any Apple or Android device and search William Penn Statesmen.
