Hargrove, Stanley Set for First Nationals Appearances
Oskaloosa–Cameron Hargrove (Fr., Bolingbrook, Ill., Undecided) and Makail Stanley (Fr., Oreana, Ill., Biology) will both be competing at the final tournament of the year this weekend as they battle at the 65th NAIA National Championship.
The Championship, which is broken into four sessions, will be held at Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kan.
The 149-pound Hargrove opens up Friday’s first session (10 a.m.) by facing Conner Holman of Oklahoma City. Hargrove is 23-5, while Holman enters nationals at 10-11.
Stanley, who is competing at 174 pounds, drew #8 seed Asher Eichert of Life (Ga.) in his first match. Stanley owns a 22-10 record, while Eichert is 19-7 on the year.
