Men Third, Women Eighth in Recent RPI
Oskaloosa–The William Penn bowling teams continue to vault up the standings as the NAIA and USBC have released their most recent rankings.
The Statesmen men are third in the NAIA with an RPI of .642, while also being 33rd in the USBC rating.
WPU has three top-five finishes this season, highlighted by winning the ISYL Leatherneck Classic last month.
Midland (Neb.) leads the men’s NAIA poll, while St. Ambrose is the top USBC program.

The Statesmen women are eighth in the NAIA with an RPI of .611 and are 39th in the USBC.
WPU’s season has included top-10 finishes in all five of its tournaments, headlined by taking second at the ISYL Leatherneck Classic.
St. Francis (Ill.) and Indiana Tech are currently tied at #1 in the NAIA, while Mount Mercy holds the top spot in the USBC ranking.

The Statesmen return to action next week, traveling to Las Vegas, Nev. for the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational next Saturday and Sunday. They stay there for two more days, competing in the Las Vegas Collegiate Shoot-Out on December 20-21.
