Deviska, Lepper Take Statesmen of the Week Accolades

Oskaloosa–Men’s soccer player Kenedy Deviska (Sr., Pignon, Haiti, Wellness and Recreation) and women’s volleyball player Corrin Lepper (Jr., Jefferson City, Mo., Exercise Science) have been named the Statesmen of the Week for the week of October 25-31, presented by Gardner-Collier Jewelry.

Deviska scored three goals in helping William Penn to a pair of wins to close out the regular season on a program-record seven-game winning streak. In line with the talk about records, Deviska’s three scores ties him for the school’s career goals mark with 42. He also managed one assist and is now one point shy of tying the program record of 97 career points.

Deviska scored one goal with one assist against Culver-Stockton and tallied two goals versus Evangel.

Lepper was extremely effective in her first match of the week vs. Peru State with 14 kills and a .522 attack percentage, committing just two errors in 23 total attempts. She also recorded one solo block and one block assist.

Against Evangel, the junior then tacked on five more kills with a trio of block assists in addition to two assists and one dig.
