Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Oskaloosa City Council Chambers didn’t have a single member present on Monday night; instead, the members met in a video conference meeting, just the second such meeting since the outbreak of COVID-19.

The Council had only a consent agenda approval to approve during the Monday night meeting.

Some noteworthy items on the consent agenda included policy on disposal of surplus city items, which included a garbage truck, bucket truck, and a pickup truck. The bucket truck is slated to be sold via sealed bid, while the other items will be traded in.

Other items on the consent agenda included the payments for work completed to C.L. Carroll Co Inc, TK Concrete, Pro-Line Building Company.

Also included in the agenda was a Coronavirus Policy, which addresses leave requirements surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

The next scheduled meeting for the Oskaloosa City Council is April 20th, and will also be a video conference meeting as well.
