Owners Of Kraig Ford Acquire Clemons Of Oskaloosa

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The owners of Kraig Ford in Oskaloosa are the new owners of what was known as Clemons of Oskaloosa. The dealership is now known as Kraig Chevrolet.
The owners include Ross Knobbe and Craig Ford, and they were both excited to share the news about their acquisition and the plans they have to serve the community.
The pair started moving in more used cars, “and we got plenty of new cars,” added Knobbe.
“So we’re looking for people to come on out and give them the same great customer experience that we give everyone at Kraig Ford and Pella Motors,” added Knobbe.
Both partners were excited about the high visibility the dealership would receive along A Avenue in Oskaloosa.
“We’re just going to treat everybody right,” added Craig Ford. “Anybody that lives in Mahaska County. Anybody that lives in Oskaloosa. If you want to buy local, give us a shot, because we do not think a person should have to pay more to buy locally.”
“This growth is going to allow us to stock between [the] three dealerships between 800 and 1000 cars. That’s a lot of inventory,” added Ford. “It’s going to allow us to lower our costs per transaction, which puts us in a very low overhead position that allows us to make a little less every time we sell a car. It’s going to make us stronger.”
The customers of Clemons will still be able to have their vehicles serviced at the new dealership. “All the warranties that they got when they purchased the vehicle will still be in effect with us,” added Knobbe.
“Even if they didn’t buy the car at Clemons. If they bought it in Des Moines, if they bought it in Ottumwa, Pella, bring it to us. We can take care of any make, any model, absolutely,” said Ford of their service.
Ford and Knobbe also explained that the new acquisition would bring new jobs to the community. Those include new sales, technicians, and more.
Ford and Knobbe eluded to more upcoming news but wasn’t quite ready to make those plans public.
