Oskaloosa Boys Track Travels To Williamsburg

by Coach Mike Sterner

Our tracksters traveled to Williamburg Monday to compete in the 10 team Raider Invitational. Although it was windy our young men battled and showed resilience and competed well against some very fine track teams. Leading the way for the Indians tonight was the 4×400 team of Carter Huyser, Ike Schultz, Patrick DeRonde, and Brayden VanKampen winning the event. Also taking gold tonight was the Distance Medley Relay team of Casey Hill, Aaron Blom, Brayden VanKampen, and Carter Huyser. Our team broke 18 new personal bests(PR’s) and 2 season best relay times. We look forward to setting many new PR bests Saturday at our home meet, the 92nd Osky Relays. We hope to hear you there cheering us on!
