8th Grade Volleyball Wins Over Newton

The 8th Grade Volleyball team played Newton last night. We are happy to report that both the Oskaloosa A & B teams both won! Each team won 3 out of 3 games. All the athletes continue to improve and show growth. The A group is learning and completing a more complex offense! These girls are getting much more consistent with their passing and are beginning to run a faster offense. It’s so neat to watch them grow. The B group had several pass, set, attacks last night! I love watching them really start to play and LOVE the game! The coach in me beams with pride for all these girls. All 8th grade teams play again next week, Monday the 9th, against Pella at Pella.

A-Team: 25-13, 25-12, 25-5 / The team consisted of Aubrey Boender, Aubree Blanco, Macie Krier, Olivia Gordon, Faith DeRonde, Aby Thompson, Addison Gerard, Gracee Flaherty and Rylee Ebelsheiser.

B-Team: 25-22, 25-16, 25-16 / The team consisted of Jade Whitley, Autumn DeRonde, Telena Woods, Ali Main, Gracee DeRonde, Rylee Ebelsheiser, and Jayley Mathes.
