5th Grade Track Meet

Around 200 5th graders from Oskaloosa Elementary School walked over to the stadium at the Lacey Recreation Complex to compete in a track meet against their fellow classmates on May 14th. With the sun shining, low wind and the smell of sun screen in the air 5th grade students participated in multiple field and running events. Later in the afternoon, other classes from Oskaloosa Elementary took a break from the normal classroom routine to cheer on fellow students in rhythmic clapping and chanting from the stands.
